Horse Owner Information

The school relies on horse owners in the area to provide horses for its students during two-week classes held three times a year. If you are interested in having dental work performed on your horse, please contact Pam Swenson at 1.208.830.9674. We also welcome questions about our program or equine dentistry in general.

The number of horses needed depends on how many students are enrolled. Spaces fill up fast and scheduling begins way ahead of class, but there are always cancellations and postponements, so call as soon as possible to get on the list.

For horses needing immediate attention, please call the office at 1.208.366.2315 for a referral of an equine dental technician in your area.
