Glenns Ferry is situated on the Snake River in southwestern Idaho in a canyon surrounded by buttes. The area is an observer’s and photographer’s paradise, with the interesting scenery and plenty of birds and wildlife. There are many recreational opportunities available – biking, boating, golfing, hiking, fishing, hunting, horseback riding, skiing and sightseeing. There are several restaurants in town including a winery, a golf course, a state park and a private craft airport. Other places of interest are within a couple of hours driving time.
